We don’t have many red meat recipe in our blog. However, it’s perfectly okay to have them as long as it is not too often. Besides, they are quite delicious!
This incredibly easy recipe called gyudon requires very few ingredients. It is also fast to prepare.
- Sliced beef or pork
- 1/2 onion
- soy sauce 2 tablespoons
- sake 2 tablespoons
- mirin 2 tablespoons
- fish stock 2 tablespoons
- sugar 2 teaspoons
- sesame seeds
- On medium heat, pour in soysauce, dashi, sake, mirin and sugar on to the pan. Bring to boil.
- Add chopped onion and sautee until soften
- Add sliced beef or pork and continue to cook until well done.
- Serve on top of a rice bowl. Garnish with sesame seeds.
