Woodworkers are left with a lot of scrap woods. Some can be reused, some cannot.
I have a lot of long, slim scrap woods in my shop. There are not many use of them due to their slim shape. Once in a while, we need to get rid of them. Rather than throwing away, they are perfect for making trays. A lot of trays.
The only disadvantage is you need to invest more plywood to make the tray bottom. But I reckoned it is worth it. Plywoods are cheaper than rigid maple.
